The FreeMax Twister 80W Kit comes after the release of Fireluke 2. It features a turn dial knob located at the bottom of the mod capable of setting your device between five and eighty watts. It also comes in six different graffiti design options, and I'm a crazy fan of the Red/Black design that I received for this review. Wanna how it works when I am using it? Let's get right to it!
Design & Colour
The kit feels like a solid metal construction, and FreeMax is calling the graffiti design a "color water transfer printing." I have no idea what this is about, but the paint job feels like it's going to last for a long time. There are six color options available at the moment, and the complexity of the design varies between them.
The Twister 80W kit is a relatively light and slim device at just under 150mm tall and 24mm wide. It feels nice to hold, and the size makes it easy to shove in my purse or jacket pocket. It comes with a 2300mAh built-in battery and uses USB charging. The graffiti designs are all very unique, but the material used for the design is a little slippery. Besides, the size and shape make me grip the mod comfortably, which does not create too much of an issue.
Coils
With the Freemax Twister kit, you'll receive two Fireluke Mesh coils from the Firelike Mesh X family. They're both made with all-natural wicking fibers and are both best used at 40W and higher. The X1 Mesh coil is a single mesh coil rated at 0.15ohms while The X2 Mesh coil is a double mesh coil rated at 0.2ohms. Both of them are best to use between 40 and 90 watts.

What's more, this kit comes fully loaded with the Fireluke 2 sub-ohm tank, which features a patent-pending air-release hole designed for more natural filling and a less messy vaping experience. It also features a turn-style knob at the bottom of the device that can be used for adjusting your wattage up to 80W. I'm really starting to like this device already. Let's see if I feel the same after using it for a while.
Verdict
The FreeMax Twister 80W Kit is an excellent performer with some glaring flaws. On the one hand, I love the form factor and the fact that it comes with a variable wattage tube mod. It is very easy to use, and I enjoyed using the dial to adjust wattage. On top of that, the Fireluke 2 is one of the best sub-ohm tanks around, and its coils are excellent both for flavor and vapor production.
On the other hand, you have its battery. The capacity is lackluster, and it doesn't support quick-charging. I'd also speak of the colorful designs, but that's obviously subjective; you either like graffiti on your mod or you don't.
