Build Quality and Design
The build quality and design of this Arcfox kit are excellent. It is made of a durable zinc alloy construction and weights 145g that feels solid in the hands. It’s an average-sized box mod at 88.25mm tall, 55.6mm wide and 30mm thick. The solid body is clad in scratch-resistant and non-slip silicone, paired with exquisite metal and leather shell to pro0tect the fuselage.
The Smok Arcfox has an 0.96 inch TFT display screen, which is crisp and bright. It clearly indicates the battery life percentage, coil resistance, working mode and current wattage/temperature. The user-friendly UI provides a high-efficient vaping experience. Below the screen, there are two small adjustment buttons. The fire key button is located on the left side of the body and convenient for one-handed operation. All buttons are very well made and clicky when used. On the opposite side of the screen, there is the name “Arcfox”, which is embossed in white. The Smok Arcfox features a spring-loaded, gold plated 510. The battery door is magnetically secured and fits securely with no wiggle or movement. You can charge the device via a fast Type-C cable with a 2a charging rate.
Functions and Features
Powered by dual external 18650 batteries, the Smok Arcfox features a maximum output of 230W that supports both VW mode and TC mode, allowing you to adjust the current resistance, wattage and voltage to achieve accurate control over power and temperature. It boasts IP67 waterproof, dustproof and shockproof to protect the device. The device can withstand water immersion between 15cm and 1 meter for 30 minutes. It’s accidentally dropped on the ground a few times and there’s no scratches or broken thanks to its shockproof.
The Smok Acffox integrates with a powerful chipset to ensure a reliable and safe vape, delivering an enjoyable vaping experience. It employs plenty of safety features, such as reverse battery connection protection, power self-adaptive control, 8 seconds cut-off, low battery warning, intelligent atomizer recognition and over-heating protection etc.
Smok TFV18 Tank
The Smok Arcfox is compatible with the TFV 18 tank, which is made of stainless steel and comes with a 7ml juice capacity. The tank arranges 5 braces on the base to efficiently transfer the power to the coil for circular and fast heating thanks to the excellent conductivity of copper. The straight wide-bore resin drip tip is very comfortable to use and captures streams of vapour. The drip tips are available in five colours and match well with the design of the mod. It uses a convenient press-to-slide top filling system to make refilling manageable and leakproof.
How to fill with E-liquid
Step 1: hold the tank with one hand and use another one to press button and then move it counterclockwise.
Step 2: add e-liquid through the slot, and pay attention not to drip it into the central airflow tube.
Step 3: close the cap carefully and firmly. Then let it stand for several minutes to get the antibacterial medical cotton completely saturated.
The kit comes with two different coils, the preinstalled TFV18 meshed 0.33ohm coil rated for 80 - 140w and a 0.15ohm coil rated for 80 - 140w. I tested the 0.33 coil with my beloved cinnamon funnel cake juice. The best result came out when vaping at 100W. It delivers an extremely satisfying vapour and a very smooth vape. And then I used the Zeus Juice Death to test the 0.15ohm coil at 100w. It is a very smooth inhale and the flavour properties hold very well during exhale.

Verdict
The Smok Arcfox is a great mod and the TFV18 tank is an excellent tank. I like its attractive design and solid build quality. You can always get the best performance available from the VW mode and TC mode. The TFV18 tank also works well to deliver an enjoyable vaping experience. If you are looking for a dual battery mod, the Smok Arcfox is an excellent choice.
